What is Screen Menu Item in Siebel CRM???

  • adds a menu item (Screen Link) in Site Map in Application
  • displaying menu items in Alphabetical order
  • according to user's visibility rules, Siebel CRM determines whether a Screen gets displayed on Site Map for a particular user or not

for example...

Let us consider a screen named "Logistics" has 5 views and user's responsibility doesn't cover for all 5 views then Siebel CRM wont display "Logistics" screen link in Site Map for the particular user. If in case user's responsibility has covered at least a view, then "Logistics" option will get displayed on Site Map in Application UI

Properties of Screen Menu Item...

Screen

  • specifies the name of the screen that the screen menu item displays
  • if the user clicks a screen menu item, then it expands and Siebel CRM displays each views which are present under the screen

Text

  • text string that gets display in the Site Map in the application UI
